As part of the NEO Libya Skills Development Programme, we are thrilled to announce a training session at Alasmarya University, aimed at enhancing proposal writing skills for Erasmus+ projects. With 24 enthusiastic attendees, this session promises to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to develop successful proposals. Here’s a glimpse of the training content:

  1. Introduction to CBHE Proposals: Understanding the key components of a competitive proposal, including objectives, expected outcomes, work plan, and sustainability plan.
  2. Erasmus+ Priorities: Exploring the specific priorities set by Erasmus+ for Higher Education in Libya, such as improving quality assurance, enhancing student and staff mobility, and fostering institutional cooperation.
  3. Needs Assessment and Project Rationale: Conducting a comprehensive needs assessment to identify the challenges, gaps, and opportunities in Libyan Higher Education. Developing a strong project rationale that aligns with Erasmus+ priorities.
  4. Logical Framework Approach: Mastering the logical framework approach to design a coherent and measurable project structure. Learning how to define objectives, indicators, activities, and expected results in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Budget Planning and Sustainability: Gaining insights into effective budget planning for CBHE proposals, ensuring alignment with Erasmus+ guidelines. Exploring strategies for project sustainability beyond the funding period.
